한국에 남은 사육곰의 더 나은 삶을 위해
다양한 분야의 사람들이 뜻을 모았습니다.
곰 보금자리 프로젝트는
한국의 사육곰 문제를 널리 알리고,
남은 사육곰이 여생을 편안히 보낼
보금자리를 만드는 중입니다.
2021년 화천의 곰 농장을 인수해 만든
임시 사육곰 보호시설에서
현재 13마리의 곰을 돌보고 있습니다.
To create a better life
for the remaining captive bears in Korea,
people from various backgrounds
have come together
under the name Project Moon Bear.
We are raising awareness
about the captive bear issue
and building a true home where
these bears can live out
the rest of their lives in peace.
In 2021, we took over
a former bear farm in Hwacheon
and turned it into an interim shelter
for rescued bears.
We currently care for 13 bears there.

곰보금자리프로젝트 임의단체 자격 설립
Established as a voluntary civic group
📍2021
환경부 산하 비영리사단법인 지정
Designated as a non-profit corporation under the Ministry of Environment
6월 - 화천 A농장 인수 및 사육곰 15마리 돌봄 시작
Jun - Acquired bear farm A in Hwacheon and began caring for 15 rescued bears
📍2022
9월 - 농장 부지에 방사장 조성
Sep - Constructed the first outdoor enclosure
📍2023
3월 - 화천 B농장 사육곰 2마리 인수 후 폐쇄
Mar - Acquired 2 bears from farm B in Hwacheon and permanently closed the facility
10월 - 화천 C농장 사육곰 1마리 인수 후 폐쇄
Oct - Acquired 1 bear from farm C in Hwacheon and permanently closed the facility

6월 - 화천 시설 부근 생츄어리 부지 확보
Jun - Secured land near the previous site for sanctuary expansion
📍2025
8월 - 두 번째 방사장 조성
Aug - Constructed the second outdoor enclosure
